Hogwarts is a castle which is full of mystery and history as well as being one of the most magnificent magical creations that the world of wizards and witches have even built. There are towers where if you stand at the top you can see all of the surrounding landscape plus dungeons at the lowest parts of the castle. Magical paintings that can talk line the walls of the Hogwarts Castle are used as a means of tracking people and passwords for entering certain rooms. There are several hidden passages here and there around the castle where some students have been able to go in and out without being detected. Overall the castle being magic just does not describe how wonderful a place it really can be.

The students are required to live on campus in the huge dormitories, broken up into different classes known as “Hufflepuff”, “Gryffindor”, “Ravenclaw”, and “Syltherin.” These dorms are the home to special students who are chosen by the sorting hat. In the first book, Harry is supposed to be a Syltherin, but is instead placed in Gryffindor. Hogwarts Castle also has many different classrooms that teach everything from basic magic, to advanced dark arts. Of course, the dark arts class is strictly for protecting yourself and not harming others.

Now LEGO Building Toys released the Hogwarts Castle Building Set allowing players to recreate the magic environment of this special place.

According the manufacturer, the castle reveal incredible details, like Dumbledore’s office with sliding stairs, the Slytherin and Gryffindor common rooms, the Restricted Section of the library and the Great Hall decorated in Slytherin and Gryffindor colors.

The set comprises of four different buildings with technic pins making it possible to re-order and change the design. It also has hinges which allow it to be folded up. Each of the four buildings contain different rooms, the first building, an open top tower, features the Astronomy Tower, part of the library and the Room of Requirement, as well as the vanishing cabinet, books and a telescope.

The second and tallest building, Gryffindor Tower contains several smaller rooms including the Gryffindor and Slytherin Common Rooms and the Owlery. Central to the set is The Great Hall. Inside are two long tables with benches, the Gryffindor and Slytherin House flags, food, chairs for the staff and the Sorting Hat.

The final building, another tower includes Dumbledore’s Office with Gryffindor’s Sword and much more. The set also contains mini-figures including Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Professor McGonagall, Argus Filch, Professor Flitwick, Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Lord Voldemort, and the Dementors.
